Representative Mike Halewood from Lord’s Taverners and Georgia Morris, Mary Leneghan, Eileen Fitzgibbon and Sally Walker from the Lady Taverners, came along to the Schools Physical Disability (PD) Boccia Tournament, held at Greenbank Sports Academy on 14th November to present Greenbank with a brand new accessible minibus.
Alice Wilson, a Consultant at Deloitte’s Liverpool Office completed the Royal Parks half Marathon – a 13.1 mile route past many of London’s landmarks and through Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens and has raised an impressive £425 for Greenbank.
Thanks to funding support from Medicash, Cash for Kids and Panathlon Challenge, Greenbank Sports Academy was able to offer a fantastic day of sports and activities for approximately 130 disabled children from Merseyside schools recently.
Congratulations and thanks to Kevin McGeorge, Sophie Weston, George Mounsdon, Emily Begley, Neil Kennedy and Sacha Moll who successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge between Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June. They raised just over £4500 to support our work and had the satisfaction of completing a gruelling challenge – a win, win for everyone involved!

Thanks to Pete Fendall, Luke Steele, Sophie Jenkins, Danny Cleverley, Charlotte Ward, Emma Henigan and Becky Davie who ran the Liverpool Spring 10K and have so far raised £1,182 via their online giving page. Further, Deloitte will provide an additional £970 (matching the before Gift-Aid amount raised, as part of their employee matched giving scheme).
