Congratulations and thanks to Kevin McGeorge, Sophie Weston, George Mounsdon, Emily Begley, Neil Kennedy and Sacha Moll who successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge between Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June. They raised just over £4500 to support our work and had the satisfaction of completing a gruelling challenge – a win, win for everyone involved!
Trip organiser Dave Stanistreet said:
“Completing the Three Peaks Challenge requires participants to reach the summit of the highest peak in England (Scaffell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowden) in just 24 hours. It’s a really tough test of fitness, stamina and endurance and everyone in the team should be congratulated on their tremendous achievement, with all completing the challenge in under 23 hours.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers from the GOAT Club who help run the trip and driver William Stanistreet.
We also really appreciate the fundraising support that the team achieved from their family and friends.”
