Mary joined Greenbank as Chief Executive Officer in 2017. She is a highly qualified senior manager with over twenty-five years’ experience of working in the learning and skills sector, recently working for a local authority with a remit of discharging its statutory duties in relation to the 16-19/25 agenda. Having excellent leadership, influencing and strategic skills, Mary has fully utilised these in a previous role as Charity Manager of a young carers’ charity. Reporting to the Board of Trustees she was responsible for the development of the charity’s plans to benefit young people. Having worked mainly in the Liverpool City Region throughout her career, Mary is known for her commitment to partnership working. She also likes to bring out the best in people and this was never more apparent than in a previous role, as Volunteer Manager for Liverpool Culture Company where she managed over 1000 volunteers. She was recognised by Wirral for the work she did in supporting the Golf Open in 2006 when she was the winner of Wirral’s 2006 Tourism Awards for Excellence “The Unseen Hero”. As well as reporting to Boards, Mary has also been a Trustee of several.
