Thanks to Jaguar Land Rover’s Higher Level Apprentices for providing engineering support to Greenbank Sports Academy on an ongoing basis.
Today, 4 of the apprentices; Rob Hall, Tom Starkey, Daniel Davies and Ashleigh Milburn have been repairing and servicing wheelchairs and cycles used for the many disability sports activities on offer at the Academy.
Ashleigh Milburn said “It’s great to be involved with Greenbank and to use the skills gained through my apprenticeship to benefit local disabled people. The jobs that I have been involved with have also helped me to develop”.
Pete Wyman, Sport Development Officer at Greenbank added “It’s fantastic to have the help and support of skilled workers provided by Jaguar Land Rover, to do jobs that we would otherwise find expensive to do. It is really beneficial and much appreciated”.
