“My daughter Ellie has cerebral palsy and all her limbs are affected so she uses an electric wheelchair to enable her to be has independent as possible. She attends a mainstream school (Archbishop Blanch) but as a family it can be difficult to find places to visit and have fun together.”
We are delighted to have secured the continued support of St James’s Place Foundation throughout 2015. Their £50,000 grant provides us with the funds to continue to offer 16 sports activity sessions per week at Greenbank Sports Academy, including boccia, wheelchair handball and basketball, cycling, table tennis and multi-sports, for disabled people aged 8 and above.
A huge thank you to staff at Deloitte’s Liverpool office for supporting the Christmas Party organised for the children who have taken part in disability sports activities as part of the Choices Programme, during the year.
