A huge thank you to Kelly Sutton, who ran the 2016 London Marathon and has so far raised a massive £1827 for Greenbank via her online giving page. A further £500 will be donated by Deloitte as part of their employee matched giving scheme.
Kelly, who is a director at Deloitte Liverpool said:
“Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do this and for being able to support such an amazing charity as Greenbank.
It was a fantastic experience and it’s a real achievement for me to have completed the course in 3 hours and forty four minutes.”
Marketing Manager Elizabeth Brocklehurst added:
“It means such a lot to the charity that Kelly was prepared to put in so much effort to completing this true test of endurance. Kelly should be really proud of her achievement and we are extremely grateful to her for choosing to support Greenbank and enabling us to provide services which make a real difference to the lives of disabled people on Merseyside.”
Greenbank has a place for a runner to take part in the 2017 London Marathon. Details of the application process will be announced in the late autumn.
