Staff from Deloitte’s Liverpool office continued their tireless support of Greenbank when employees Jonathan Gillbanks, Jonathan Urmston and Josh Harper joined other runners on the starting line of the Liverpool Spring 10k on 7th May.
The event took place just around the corner from us, in Sefton Park and was a great challenge for our runners.
Deloitte Assistant Manager Jonathan Gillbanks, who took part in the race, said:
“Overall the team thoroughly enjoyed the race and after several weeks of training and hard work it felt great to put that training to use. We were all very happy with how the race went and with our respective times.
It was great to see so much support and motivation from the large crowds lining the route and that really spurred us on while the glorious sunshine on the day obviously helped as well.
In total, we have managed to raise over £600 which we are also pleased with and we hope that this amount can contribute to improving the lives of those supported by Greenbank. ”
