Coming to Greenbank brightens my week

Details“I’ve always been passionate about sport; before my accident I was a boxer. I also worked in a warehouse as a forklift truck driver and then everything changed and I became a wheelchair user in 2011.”
Details“I came to Greenbank College from Gateacre School a few years ago and it was really scary at first but the fact that the College is small made it easier to settle in. Now I’m a Student Ambassador and help out at College events, so that I can reassure people before they start.”
Details“I’ve been a student at Greenbank College for a few years and in that time, I’ve achieved so much. I’ve completed a number of qualifications including Maths, English and Exercise and Fitness at level 2.”
Details“My daughter Ellie has cerebral palsy and all her limbs are affected so she uses an electric wheelchair to enable her to be has independent as possible. She attends a mainstream school (Archbishop Blanch) but as a family it can be difficult to find places to visit and have fun together.”
